Hope Platel

With more than 25 years of experience in accounting, finance, and organizational leadership, Hope Platel is a proven finance executive recognized for building strong teams, optimizing financial operations, and supporting strategic growth. Hope brings extensive expertise across diverse industries, including food distribution, CPG, e-commerce, publishing, mortgage origination, retail, hospitality, and title insurance.

Before joining HIGHMARK, Hope served as Vice President of Finance at Ace Endico, where she led company-wide financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and internal controls. Throughout her career, Hope has partnered closely with ownership and executive teams to strengthen financial systems, streamline processes, refine performance metrics, and support mergers, acquisitions, and new business development. She has overseen large accounting and HR teams, implemented multiple ERP and payroll systems, enhanced cost and inventory management, and managed complex audit, banking, insurance, and compliance relationships.

Hope holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from South University and a Bachelor of Science
in Accounting from Stevens-Henager College.
